The vibes have come and gone through the past couple of seasons, but it hasn’t been enough to put together a serious run at ending the playoff drought. Head Coach Don Granato paid the price this week, as he was let go. What will it take for the Sabres to find their way back into the postseason?

Atlantic Division Snapshot: December 4, 2022

What a difference a month can make. I last checked in on the Atlantic Division in early November. The Sabres were rolling. The Maple Leafs were reeling. Early season trends that were unstainable have faded away and we’re getting a better picture of how the Atlantic is shaping up through a little more than a quarter season.

Team Synopsis: Buffalo Sabres – November 7, 2022

The vibes in upstate New York are impeccable. The Buffalo Sabres are off to a strong start and are playing an entertaining brand of hockey. It’s a big change since my last check-in on the Sabres in late August. They had a relatively quiet offseason and looked set to occupy a spot at the bottom of the Atlantic Division once again this season. Let’s take a look at how the vibes have done a 180 over the first month of the season.
